KXStudio 10.04.2 Review

If you're interested in exploring Linux for audio production, it doesn't get much better than KXStudio. Using Ubuntu 10.04 as its base, it picks up from where Ubuntu Studio left off, fixing PulseAudio/Jack woes by integrating both audio servers from the start. It also adds nice things like Ladish session handling, VST support and a plethora of other audio production apps. Rating: Highly recommended. Pros: PulseAudio/Jack integration, Ladish, VST (FeSTige), tons of software. Cons: Some minor bugs, KDE (I'm not too big a fan, but no biggie).
