The Armistice as signed in July 1953 to stop the major fighting with North Korea, the Military Demarcation Line and the Demilitarize Zone were created to separate the 2 Korea's. Since then, US military members have always been present to preserve and protect South Korea. This video is 53 plus minutes of history involving US Troops and Veterans! From peace talks, troops serving on the DMZ, incidents, Korean War Repatriations, and DMZ Vets returning to the past. This is made from a collection of several videos about the DMZ. Although we do not patrol or man guard towers anymore! We still have troops present with JSA at Panmunjom. This video is dedicated to those soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, who have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve peace in Korea!
