This book was dedicated to him. We spent most enjoyable period (about two hours) with my favorite hero. We were in awe of his debonair and sophisticated personality. I asked him questions on his friends such as Gurudutt, Wahida Rehman, and also about his contemporary actors, Dilip Kumar and Raj kapoor and on his heroines like Vaijayantimala, Nutan, Sadhana, Nanda, Madhubala and his brother, the great director Vijay Anand. Exactly after eight years, in the year 2011, on the same day (3rd December) he passed away. This news was very very shocking for us and this is the song from the film "Hum Dono"(1961) I immediately remembered. Lyrics by Sahir Ludhiyanvi and Music by Jaidev.
