Jaywalking Teenagers Seriously Injured In Chula Vista

12.10.2018 | 3:40 PM | CHULA VISTA - A pair of teenagers were hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a car while jaywalking, Monday afternoon. Police and fire officials responded to the reported vehicle versus pedestrians crash near the intersection of Terra Nova Drive and East H Street around 3:40 PM. Crews arriving on scene found two teenage girls down in the roadway who had been hit by a pickup truck. Both victims were reportedly launched after being struck at a high rate of speed. Firefighter paramedics treated both victims on scene and transported them to an area hospital with major trauma.
