Padmashree was born into a Chinmaya family and was blessed with a long association with Pujya Gurudev, which culminated in her serving him as a secretary whenever she could take time off her work as a professor of physics. All her long vacations were spent travelling with Gurudev from yajna to yajna. As we hear her narrate her experiences, we feel transported to the dynamic and divine presence of the Master.
