In the Kalmiopsis Wilderness, Oregon - After the Ants

Join us to take in the vista along the Illinois River Trail in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness in southwestern Oregon in October 2019. Chilly fall weather meant that despite sunny skies, the ants as well as other hikers were nowhere to be found. Off-season is often our favorite season for these reasons, and this day hike was no exception.
