In Focus | Amazon HQ2 & National Landing

Amazon made a famous decision to co-locate their HQ2 headquarters with one location in NY and one in the Washington region, which is called National Landing. Join Uwe Brandes, faculty director for the master's in Urban & Regional Planning at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, and Glenn Williamson, faculty director for the master's in Real Estate, as they discuss the Amazon HQ2 and National Landing. What's interesting about Amazon's new location in Crystal City is that there is a lot of building stock on the site already. It's also located within walking distance to the airport and it's close to Metro. What this decision means is that all those properties where people were contemplating or planning construction with residential buildings in that area are going to take off.
