Thanks to a subscriber for recommending this video to me! I know that this video has been posted already by "Bobby James" (a.k.a. zhoni2004) and he has done an excellent job of teaching this information in Navajo... great job, man! Although I don't like to be redundant, here is the information re-posted! :-) Here are the words for the days of the week in the Navajo language: Damóo: Sunday Damóo Biiskání: Monday Damóo Dóó Naaki Jí̜ Nida'anish: Tuesday Damóo Dóó Tágí Jí̜ Nida'anish: Wednesday Damóo Dóó Dí̜í̜'í Jí̜ Nida'anish: Thursday Nida'iiníísh: Friday Damóo Yázhí: Saturday Yiská̜ Damóo: Saturday "Damóo" actually comes from the Spanish word "Domingo." Some Navajos say "Damíigo" for Sunday as well... a slight variance. The breakdowns: Damóo (Sunday) Biiskání (the day after it/next day): Monday Damóo (Sunday) Dóó (and) Naaki (two) Jí̜ (day) Nida'anish (they work): Tuesday Damóo (Sunday) Dóó (and) Tágí (third) Jí̜ (day) Nida'anish (they work): Wednesday Damóo (Sunday) Dóó (and) Dí̜í̜'í (fourth) Jí̜ (day) Nida'anish (they work): Thursday Nida'iiníísh (they are done working): Friday Damóo (Sunday) Yázhí (the little one): Saturday Yiská̜ (tomorrow's) Damóo (Sunday): Saturday Any questions... hit me up! :-)
