First attempt on breeding goldfish at home. After a few attempts, it finally worked. This video is meant to record and share my experience. From eggs are fertilized 0 to 4 days. Previous failure may caused by: 1) Eggs are laid before male's milk was squeezed! Eggs have only 1 minute to get fertilized. So I suggest either to squeezed the male's milk first or squeezed both male and female together. 2) If male is too young, their milk may not be enough or strong enough to get female eggs fertilized. 3) Best temperature for eggs to hatch is between 21C-24C. And make sure the water is totally changed after the eggs are fertilized. You might even wanna rinse the fertilized eggs carefully before filling up clean water. 4) Sufficient aeration for the water where eggs are placed. 5) Minimal change of water by sucking out fungus in the water if you find any. If above is observed, eggs should hatch in 2-4 days. It's just excited to see eggs being hatched! Happy breeding!!
