How to Activate the Volume Icon in Windows 10

In today's tutorial, we will teach you how to activate the volume icon in Windows 10. Go to Cortana search line and type 'turn system icons on or off' and click on it at the top of your window. Look for 'Volume' and switch it on. If the option is not available for you as well, there is a solution. Go to Cortana search line and type 'gpedit.msc'. Open it. Pull the border to resize it. Click on 'Administrative Templates' and look for 'Start Menu and Taskbar'. Click on it. Go to 'Standard' tab on the right side of your window. Scroll down and look for 'Remove the volume control icon'. Double-click on it. Check 'Not Configured' in the new window. Click 'Apply' and 'Ok'. Go to the left bottom corner of your desktop and click on windows icon. The start menu will pop up. Click on the Switch on/off icon and choose 'Update and Restart'. Your Volume icon is back.
