Gyro Adjustment and Maiden flight of my Trex 250 Clone after converting it to Flybarless. Once I dialed out the Wag of Death, it flies pretty smoothly!
Was hoping this mod would truely transform the 250 into a monster like it did for my Blade 400... while it's a huge improvement in stability and performance, it does beg for a bit more collective and pitch throw, which is physically limited on the 250: too much and the pitch servo arm will hit the main gear. In this video, she's running 11 pitch and 6 cyclic and only 85% throttle (goverened) on a 3900Kv motor w/14T pinion, and dogging a bit.
Update: put in another flight @ 90% throttle today and it's MUCH better, but still wants just a bit more pitch. I've got a good idea on how to add more throw, so will try to put together a ZYX Setup Video while I'm at it... stay tuned...
