“And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for you. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights to Horeb the mount of God.” 1. Kings 19,7-8 When I read this verse God said to me: You can NEVER get to the place where you will finally have peace. The journey is too great for you. Therefore get up and eat, because in the strength of my meat you will manage. And thats how Elijah made it to the mountain of God, where he experienced His presence like never before. But you need to know that all your knowledge, all your studying, all your logic, all your finances or backup plans will never get you to the place where you can have peace IN THE MIDDLE of this life.
