Free Birth || what is it and why we chose it || unassisted birth

Freebirth, also called unassisted childbirth, refers to intentionally giving birth without the assistance of a medical birth attendant. In this video, we share about what lead us to choose Freebirth and our process getting to the deep space of knowing within us that choosing to bring Ilya into the world in this way was right for us. We share about our desire to allow the natural process of birth to take place in a way that felt like it would be undisturbed, the self education that we did to know what birth could look like in its most natural form, and how we examined, understood, and moved through fears that arose for us so we could arrive at a centered space of calm and excitement for Ilya’s arrival.
