Fix Group policy error in Windows 10 & Windows 7 - How to open local group policy editor from standard local account: When i open Local security policy or group policy editor as a standard user, Group policy error is showing with the details, access is denied, you do not have permission to perform this operation. Solution: Change your user account type from standdard to Administrator. Otherwise, run cmd as administrator, type 'gpedit' to open the group policy editor.
