Exploring The Abandoned(?) Meadow Creek Mine!! - Alpine County, CA

Another installment of the Alpine County, California Mine Exploration Series. This time I visited the Meadow Creek Mine, just east of the local pass. It turns out the site is a patented mining claim, though it does seem to host outside visitors from time to time. The property was not posted as private, or with any other indication that the land was other than USFS land. All artifacts and items were left as found. Took only pictures, left only footprints!
