Abandoned Mine Exploration: Gold Ledge Mine - A California gold mine

This abandoned mine exploration takes us to the Gold Ledge Mine, a California gold mine. After a Jeep ride, we hike up a rugged mine road to the mine which is high in the mountains, where we find several interesting features. A nice wood head frame and shaft, an incredible mill ruin and a pair of drifts with unique twin portals. In one of the drifts we find a lot of timbering and the other long drift we find ore car tracks winding for 1900 feet deep into the mountain.
