Ephesians 1:14 (NLT) "The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him." Ephesians is big picture. It is the whole kit-n-caboodle of Jesus's teachings. This verse is major in reminding us that the Spirit is the guarantee of our everlasting life. In the previous verse God said that we have heard the truth and God will save us all. So it continues here as God's promise to us as to an eternity in heaven. Speak of him, share his deeds.
