Dorina Sackman - Westridge MS - 2014 OCPS Teacher of the Year Winner

Dorina Sackman has spent the majority of her teaching career seeking innovative instructional methods for English Language Learners. In her classes at Westridge Middle, she incorporates unique and energetic instructional activities that promote positive student interaction and collaboration. She is also passionate about her role as mentor and role model for at-risk youth. Dorina is dedicated to empowering students to make more positive choices. She accomplishes everything in her busy day with an engaging, optimistic outlook that inspires teachers, students and parents to make education a top priority.
