dog having a seizure (Elvis the beagle)

This is a video of my beagle/bassett mix Elvis having a seizure. I know the first few times she had a seizure i was terrified and i thought maybe a little insight would be helpful to those that have an animal with the same issue. This is a fairly mild seizure compared to some of the ones she has had, we were just going to go out for a walk, Elvis went to hop up in the car and the seizure triggered, i happened to have my camera with me so i recorded the episode for the vet to see. These can be very concerning to the owner of the animal for obvious reasons. A few good tips i have learned through the vet and internet research are as follows: Keep in a dim area or turn the lights down (in this video we are outside so not very possible) Try and comfort your animal Do NOT try and pick up your animal)they will toss and turn and a strong possibility you both could be hurt) The animal will thrash around so remove any objects that could be dangerous In most cases your animal will lose control of their bladder functions so get a towel or two to place under them as bad as this looks for little Elvis she is totally unaware during the seizure and when it is done she just hops right back up and is her normal self again, hopping around , begging for food, etc. Normally she will be pretty thirsty and a little tired out due to the stress on her body during the seizure This seizure lasted about 15 minutes in total, we walked around the yard and she had another one after this video was done recording ok anyways i hope this video might help anyone out there for one reason or another, feel free to ask questions or inform me with any info you might have, thanks for watching
