Copper Mtn. - Spaulding Bowl & Glades - March 2016

A few of you have asked about snow conditions in Summit County this week...as of today most of the mountains have received 18" of new snow in the last 72 hours which, from what I gather from the locals, is long overdue. I shot this video on Wednesday and as you can see the snow in Copper's Spaulding Bowl and the Glades (and most of the mountain) is awesome at the moment ! Aside from some 50mph gusts on the Storm King T-bar en route to the summit at 12,441' and a few close encounters with trees while trying to keep up with my "tree skiing safety partners" it was pretty epic. Sadly, it was time for us to come home but we all had a fantastic week and hope anyone in the area gets up there to play in the powder!
