David Nasaw, the Arthur Schlesinger distinguished professor of history at the CUNY Graduate Center, adds Joseph P. Kennedy to his list of biographies of American figures, central to the history of their times. Preceded by biographies of Andrew Carnegie and William Randolph Hearst, Professor Nasaw continues to explore the outsiders' journey to wealth and power in "The Patriarch: The Remarkable Life and Turbulent Times of Joseph P.
