Carbon monoxide contamination affected pilot's ability to fly chopper From the evidence presented to the commission of inquiry into the Saitoti crash, one of the pilots Luke Oyugi whose system was found to be contaminated with a fatal level of carbon monoxide was dead before the chopper crashed.The June 10th Kibiku crash may have been as a consequence of the pilots incapacitation by carbon monoxide emanating from the fire in the chopper.
