Check your hearing: World Hearing Day 2019

World Hearing Day is marked every year on 3 March. The theme this year is “Check your hearing”. According to the World Health Organisation, many people live with unidentified hearing loss, often failing to realise that they’re missing out on certain sounds and words. In Sub-Saharan Africa, the number of people with hearing loss stands at 49 million, but is projected to reach 71 million by 2030 if nothing is done.
