When some slaughter hobbyists were pushing to make it legal to kill animals in the backyards of Oakland a couple years ago, a number of us worked with legislators to keep animal slaughter illegal. CBS San Francisco interviewed Colleen as well as the slaughter hobbyists. (UPDATE: After a few years of working on this, we were successful. It remains illegal to kill animals in Oakland.)
