Pullet became rooster - decision to slaughter - Part 1

We raised Silky from a day old chick. He began crowing at 4 months old and the city does not allow roosters. Not to mention, my neighbors and I like to sleep in past 6:30am. So, we had to make the difficult decision to end his short life. This was no easy task, emotionally or technically. Many YouTube videos were watched in preparation.
