In the event of medical emergencies, emergency responders may find themselves having to lift the victim and carry him or her to safety. The four-handed seat is an effective and secure way to do so. This video from the Singapore Emergency Responder Academy (SERA) will teach you how!
From the video,
1) The two emergency responders are to stand opposite one another. Each responder will hold out his left arm, while his right arm grips onto his left upper arm. He will then grip the other responders' right forearm with his left hand.
2) The victim will place her hands around the emergency responders' necks for support
SERA is dedicated to providing training and certification courses for a variety of First Aid and CPR + AED courses. We conduct corporate and public courses and have trained thousands to date.
