Black Urad Dhal Medu Vada | Karuppu Ulundhu Vadai.
Let us see step by step process including batter preparation for making Black Urad Dhal Medu Vada. How to prepare batter at home for perfect Crispy Ulundu/Medhu Vadai at home.
Ingredients:
Black Urad Dhal - 1/2 cup
[soak overnight or for 6 to 8 hours]
[add water little by little
we need thick batter for vada]
Salt to taste
[fine thick batter]
Onion (finely chopped) - 1 no
Ginger (finely chopped) - 1/2 tsp
Green Chilli (finely chopped) - 2 nos
Curry leaves (finely chopped) - few
Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - handful
Rice Flour - 1 tbsp
Coarsely Ground Black Pepper - 1 tsp
[dhal batter]
Ground nut oil - 250 ml
[wet fingers and make shapes]
tiny ball shape vada
Serve with sambhar and chutney
