Baked Multiflour Chakli Sticks | Healthy Snacks Recipe | Instant Crunchy Chakli | JOOS Food Chakli is a festival favourite snack. Its variations are made all over the India under similar and different names. And we have a healthier version for you! With the goodness of jowar, ragi and wheat flour this recipe does not compromise on taste. And to top it off its baked! This festival season opt for our Multi flour Ragi Chakli. Ingredient 1/4 cup ragi flour (nachni) 1/2 cup jowar flour 1/2 cup wheat flour 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (roasted and coarsely crushed) 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1 tsp black sesame seeds 2 tsp ghee (melted) 1/2 tsp salt Method Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using 7 to 8 tbsp water. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Put 1 portion of the dough into a chakli press and press out straight sticks of 4" size of the dough onto a baking tray lined with butter paper. Bake all the chaklis in a pre-heated oven at 180°c for 15 minutes, turn them over and bake them at 200°C again for 20 minutes. Check whether the sticks are crispy, if found soft, bake them again at 200°C for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. Serve or store in an air-tight container and use as required.
