There are several varieties of murukku.. murukku is such a easy recipe which can be experimented with any kind of flours like rice flour, wheat flour, millet flour, dhal flour etc... Ragi or Finger millet is well known most nutritious millet and is an excellent source of calcium.... regular consumption of ragi helps to maintain good bone health....
This is the best tea time snack and for kids snack box too.. This murukku recipe is such an easy, quick and healthy recipe..
Ingredients:
Ragi - 1/2 cup
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Roasted gram flour - 2 tbsp
Asafeotida - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt as required
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Melted Butter - 1 tsp
Coconut oil - for frying
