Avdiivka Resident: "It Seems They Fight Against Us"

Buildings, apartments, and even a little TV – everything here has been damaged from shelling. This building on the outskirts of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, was a target only one month ago. One of its few residents, Nataliia, from fight to fight tries to save her house. Endless repair work is her own fight for life. "My father and I, we take a cement mixer and mix it... I hired people to make these walls", Nataliia says. The woman lives without a salary for half a year, she borrows money all around the city to make her apartment stay in one peace, "It's a living in debt.
