(8 Jan 2020) Hong Kong police moved in to disperse a protest in the city on Wednesday night.
Footage showed officers making at least one arrest after the demonstration in the territory's Tseung Kwan O area.
Hong Kong has been in the grips of a pro-democracy movement, which began over opposition to proposed extradition bill that would have allowed Hong Kong residents to be sent to stand trial in mainland China, since June.
The legislation has since been withdrawn by the regional government, but protests have continued around broader democratic demands.
The site of the protest was close to a shrine for student Alex Chow, who was killed when he fell from multi-story car park during a police operation to clear demonstrators in Tseung Kwan O in November.
