Filmed in the Wai-o-tapu region of New Zealand just South of Rotorua. This mud is boiling, in other words it is above 100°C.
Rotorua is a very geothermally active region of New Zealand with many boiling mud pools, geysers, hot and cold springs, sulphur lakes, sulphur caves, and many cool coloured geothermal structures.
