Muddy Hell

This is part of the volcanic activity at Waitapu about a 35 minute drive from Rotorua NZ towards Taupo in the North Island. If you have a tripod camera with at least a 8GB card you would get some amazing explosions of mud here. At one point I heard what sounded like crocodiles wrestling as there was huge amounts of mud hurled and gargled. Well worth a stop not far off the main road and well posted. This was taken Sunday 27th May 2012 around 3pm.
