USA: Winds propel Dixie Fire towards Northern California towns

Large areas of forested land were seen ablaze, producing high plumes of smoke that blocked visibility, as the wildfire approached the town of Janesville.
According to a public information officer of the U.S. Forest Service, the Dixie Fire has destroyed 1,180 structures, including 630 homes, while the massive wildfire still is threatening nearly 16,000 homes.
