USA: Dixie Fire continues to threaten Californian communities

Firefighters battled the Dixie Fire as winds continued to shift the blazes towards communities in Northern California, as seen on Tuesday night and in the early hours of Wednesday.
Large areas of land were seen ablaze, producing high plumes of smoke that blocked visibility, as the wildfire approached the second mountain community of Susanville after entering Janesville on Monday.
According to a public information officer of the US Forest Service, the Dixie Fire has destroyed 1,180 structures, including 630 homes, while the massive wildfire still is threatening nearly 16,000 homes.
