A powerful winter storm hit the West Coast of America causing road blockage and car chaos in California’s Lake Tahoe area, as seen on Wednesday.
Drivers were stuck with cars and trucks in deep snow in Applegate, California. Some were eventually let through.
The storm has caused several major highway closures. The storm is expected to dissipate by Friday. UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab reported that the area has reached a new record for December with 193.7 inches of snow (4,9 meters) recorded as falling for the month.
