USA: Harvey Weinstein pleads not guilty to rape and sexual assault charges in LA

Appearing in a wheelchair at a Los Angeles courtroom, Harvey Weinstein pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of rape and sexual assault on Wednesday.

Weinstein who sat with his medical mask under his nose had been moved across the country to appear at the LA court.

Weinstein is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence at a Buffalo prison after he was found guilty in New York City last year on two counts of sexual assault, including rape.

In Los Angeles, he faces four counts of rape, four counts of forcible oral copulation, two counts of sexual battery by restraint and one count of sexual penetration by use of force.
