USA: Founder of electric truck company Nikola pleads "not guilty" to fraud charges

Trevor Milton, the founder of the electric truck manufacturer Nikola, was seen leaving the United States District Court in New York Thursday after pleading not guilty to multiple counts of fraud.

He was freed on a $100 million (€84.1 million) bond acquired primarily through property Milton owns in his home state of Utah.

US Attorney Audrey Strauss said Milton had lied about every aspect of his company to bolster stock sales.
