‘Steven Seagal Gifts Katana SWORD to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’

Steven Seagal has met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas, gifting the embattled leader a Japanese katana sword.

It was unclear whether Seagal was visiting the Venezuelan capital in his capacity as a ‘special representative’ of the Foreign Ministry of Russia - a key ally of Venezuela.

The Venezuelan ruler wielded the sword and joked by performing a few playful moves.

Maduro is hoping for the Biden administration to lift sanctions on his government as his battle for legitimacy with with opposition leader Juan Guaido continues.
