The ‘First Flight’ aerobatic team performed a flight program at the International Aviation and Aerospace Salon MAKS-2021 in Zhukovsky on Friday.

‘First Flight’ pilots are the only professionals in Russia who perform exciting turns on piston-engined aircraft.

Footage shot from the aircraft shows yellow-red coloured planes making spectacular complex aerobatics figures in the sky.

The participants of the ‘First Flight’ prepared a special program for MAKS-2021, including their calling card - the “Fan”, a program element in which three aircraft takes part.

The Yak-52 and Yak-54 pilots are true professionals in their field - they are the current Russian, European and world champions.

A light sports aircraft Extra-330 opened the program of the fourth day of demonstration flights of military and civil aircraft at the MAKS-2021 Air Show on Friday.

Ka-52, Mi-35M, Ansat, Ka-62 and Mi-38T helicopters also performed demonstration flights. In addition, helicopters of the Indian aerobatic team Sarang also took to the sky.

The International Aviation and Space Salon will last until July 25 at the Zhukovsky Airfield.
