Two escaped ostriches rampaged through the streets of Manila after escaping from their owner.

The huge birds reportedly broke free from their cage after it was accidentally left open in a back garden in the Quezon City area.

Residents were left in shock as the ostriches ran wild down the streets, with several people attempting to catch them.

Both birds were eventually recaptured with the assistance of security crew.
