Dozens of migrants are either dead or missing after two boats sank in Greek waters.

The first, which was carrying as many as 100 people, struck rocks and sank off the coast of the Greek island of Kythira in stormy weather.

Rescuers were scrambling in 70mph winds and pitch darkness to find the survivors, some of whom were discovered clinging to a rocky outcrop.
