‘Gunmen Leave 13 Dead in AMBUSH on Police Convoy in Mexico’

At least 13 people have been killed in an ambush on a police convoy in central Mexico on Thursday.

Officials confirmed the victims were all law enforcement officers.

The massacre was the country’s biggest slaying of law officials since October 2019.

The ambush sparked a huge search for the killers in rural areas on the outskirts of Mexico City.

The army were deployed in Coatepec Harinas shortly after the attack.

Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador promised to bring the gunmen to justice.

There was no immediate indication as to the affiliation of the attack.
