Germany: 'Querdenken' and counter-protesters stage 'walks' throughout Berlin

Dozens of Querdenker protesters gathered at various locations in Berlin to go for what they call ‘walks’ on Monday, where counter protesters also set up demonstrations in protest.

The Querdenker ‘walks’ were unregistered and they remained on the sidewalks, and mostly without placards or banners.​

The Querdenken, or ‘lateral thinkers’ movement, has been active since April 2020, denouncing government policies aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19.
