The International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) director-general Rafael Grossi meets with Iranian Minister of Foreign affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Tehran on Tuesday, November 23, following a meeting and a press conference with the Atomic Energy Organisation.

The visit comes ahead of the IAEA’s board of governors quarterly meeting and the resumption of nuclear talks after five months, which are planned for November 29. IAEA board discussions are expected to include the processes of verification and monitoring in the Islamic Republic of Iran in view of United Nations Security Council resolution 2231 (2015).
