Cuba: Russian aircraft carrying 41 tonnes of humanitarian aid lands in Havana

The Russian Defence Ministry’s An-124 aircraft delivered basic foodstuffs such as flour, canned meat and sunflower oil to Cuba, according to Anna Kosenkova, a counsellor at the Russian Embassy in Havana.
This is the second batch of humanitarian aid Moscow delivers to the Caribbean nation recently. According to reports, another Russian military aircraft is set to arrive in Havana on Friday, carrying another 40 tonnes of medicines, medical equipment and medicines.
