The inspirations for this soundtrack were really varied, ranging from the soft ambience of Machinarium's score, the electro-acoustic fusion of Bastion, and NES-era chiptunes. Creating a cohesive style took experimentation; we played off of each other's techniques a lot. We wanted the music to be exciting and interesting, without being too chaotic or distracting. It was a great challenge that kept us highly creative throughout the project. We hope you enjoy our music as much as we enjoyed writing it!
