Topics that will be covered include: - Copyright and Intellectual Property Law - Artist Management - Fan Engagement/Internet Marketing - Production - Small Business Development - Crowdfunding This event is part of a joint initiative between The Google Community Leaders Program, The Ellis Marsalis Center, The Recording Academy™ Memphis Chapter, MACCNO, The Backbeat Foundation, The City of New Orleans Office of Cultural Economy, Guitar Center: GC Pro, the Loyola Music Industry Studies Program and the Tipitina's Foundation.
