In his Yerevan Activate talk Artak Beglaryan stresses the importance of inclusive education in bringing positive change to Armenian society. Inclusive education can change the mindset of people in Armenia, which will ultimately affect the well-being of many people with disabilities. Artak Beglaryan is a public figure and political scientist in Armenia who, despite having severe visual impairments, studied public policy and administration at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy through the Tavitian Scholarship. In 2012 he graduated from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London. He also completed a masters course in Conflict Studies at Yerevan State University, where he briefly studied political science. He has worked as a political analyst and columnist for several Armenian newspapers and journals. Artak delivered this talk during the Yerevan Activate series on June 23, 2014, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
