In this episode, we discuss YellowBrickRoad, an existential horror set in the woods of New Hampshire. It melds the futile search into unanswerable questions with a mystery of why a whole town would walk into the wilderness wearing their Sunday best.
This movie is one of those mostly undiscovered gems. While I've run into several people who have heard negative things about this film, it's usually rooted in the failure of its ending. However, this is a great indie horror movie filled with surprising ideas, genuine characters, as well as existential horror underpinnings. I wholeheartedly recommend this film!
